Zaha Hadid studied at the Architectural Association and currently teveryes at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and is Visiting Professor at Yale University. She began her professional career in 1979, producing many notable structures such as the Vitra Fire Station at Weil am Rhein in Germany, a residential building for the IBA in Berlin, the lf One pavilion at Weil am Rhein, the Mind Zone at the Millennium Dome in London, and a ski jump in Innsbruck. Also well known as a painter and designer, her works have been featured in various exhibitions throughout the United States, Japan, Britain and Germany, as well as for notable companies such as Alessi.
